Autism in my Appearance, September 2026
Aequus Exhibitions, 'Fine Art Exhibition'
The Chapter Hall, Leeds
This artwork depicts the different ways autism affects my appearance. It may not be noticeable to others, but sensory difficulties alter the way I present myself on a day-to-day basis. A high ponytail prevents hair touching my neck. Wearing minimal clothing, when possible, such as a sports bra and shorts, reduces the amount of clothing making contact with my skin. If you look closely, you can see scars from the removal of multiple piercings allowing me to fidget with my ears without interference. These seemingly small factors come together to create an appearance that represents my autism.

Community Colour Changing Doodle, November 2025
'Elements of Nature' Final Showcase
Left Bank Leeds
Throughout September 2025, I hosted community art workshops at Left Bank Leeds, exploring not only the meditative process of painting but also the meditation of watching these paintings move under colour changing lights. I brought together the work produced by the community to create a larger collaborative meditative doodle shown at the final showcase.
